Let's Go to the Movies

*update* This is a movie clip below, even though it may not look like it. Just click on the play button.

You may have seen previews for this movie, but in case you haven't, I wanted you to know about it. It is by the same people who did Facing the Giants which is another must see. This one is about marriage. The preview looks really good. You can read more about it at this website.

Pardon me while I get on my soapbox for a moment. Y'all satan is after our marriages. If you are married, I pray that it is a stong, healthy one, but please don't become complacent. If he hasn't yet, satan will attack you. Marriage was God's plan...a perfect plan. The enemy wants no part of that. Mine has been attacked before and will be again. We have to continually work at it. We must guard our hearts and minds in Christ...continually. Plus, if we are going to support any movie, one based on Christian principals is a good one to choose. OK, I'm stepping off my soapbox. Thanks for humoring me. :) Now, go hug your spouse.

Tammy, your post was very timely. Ken and I just discussed that we felt a strong attack from Satan over the last two weeks in our family-marriage included. While we are aware of it, it doesn't make the battle any easier. Please pray for us. Your post
(I sent a link to Ken) was almost confirmation of what was happening.

Someone asked Ken a few weeks ago how things were. He responded that they were fine-paused and then said "And that's not a challenge". It's almost as if Satan said "Game on!" We literally have felt the attacks from every angle. We both have been led at different times to cover our children with prayer not knowing why...just believing that the HS was prompting us. Please remember our family this week as you feel led.

Terri - It is a priviledge to pray for you. I am so thankful we all have each other. How in the world do people get through with out the prayers and support of friends and family??

Tammy,
You know how I have felt about my marriage. I'm reading the book and loving it.

Terri,
I will join and pray about your family and marriage.

Can't wait to see it

Ironic- Just got on that same soap box Monday at dinner with some friends. Every marriage has the potential to be sabotaged. It happens the moment we let our guards down! The scary part is how sneaky Satan can be. The breakdown can start with the tiniest little crack.

Definitely looks like something worth seeing/reading. Even though I'm not married...it'll be good to see for preparation!

I had not heard about the movie and now can't wait to see it. Thanks for making us aware.

I love your soapbox. It is so true. Jimmy and I would have failed so many times over if we did not have Christ in our life.

Jimmy recently read some statistics on marriage: Christian marriages have the same divorce rate as secular marriages. However, spouses that pray together every night stay together 99% of the time.

I love your new pics of Ella and Maddie! awesome!

Tammy, I just read your email last night after bs...maybe I shouldn't abbreviate that. Anyway, I typed a long response that didn't go through because of some goofy something with my email.
Thanks for thinking of me...would you add this email..terri_richmond@ whitfield.k12.ga.us to your email list? I check it the most frequently since it is work.
Thanks,
Terri
