Well for the 2nd year in a row, we had an indoor Easter egg hunt. All the kids in the church were planning on coming to our house this past Sunday for a picnic and egg hunt. But, on Saturday we literally had a river running through our yard. I thought we might have to go find our snorkels and floats. Alas, the rain did stop, but our yard was still a soggy mess on Sunday, so we had it inside the church instead. All was not lost. The kids had a great time! It didn't seem to bother them at all!!
Here they are all gathered, waiting for the eggs to be hidden

It takes a very brave soul to stand between a group of kids and their eggs!

Ella, Maddie and Ethan showing off their treasures

They had to gather together and compare - many apologies to Bryce for cutting his head off!

It looks like a wonderful time was had by all! I hate that we missed it, but we were all out of town.
Happy Easter to the Hildebrand family! We love you dearly and I cannot imagine where our family would be without the Hildebrands. Tammy, thank you for staying by my side, as a true friend, when I was very hard to love and I felt like giving in!! We love you sooooo much, too! Have a wonderful Easter weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning.
Looks like a fun time. We've had many indoor hunts too. The kids don't care. They just want the loot. Happy Easter to the Hildebrands. We love you guys.
Thanks for the kind words. God does do some amazing stuff when we pay attention.
How fun! I love the galvanized steel east egg basket alternative.
I can't believe I haven't commented on here yet.....must've been the fever.
Anyway....I'm not sure if it was a "brave soul" or just ignorance to stand between kids and their egg hunt. He definitely fell for it....I wonder who told him to guard the door.....SUCKER
