Quote for the Day

So...the girls are cleaning today. We were late to ballet yesterday because Ella couldn't find her ballet shoes...AND her tights were not in her drawer, so she had to wear some old ones with holes in the toes. Did I mention that we never could find the shoes so she had to go with no shoes, toes sticking out and all. If I sound a little bitter, there is good reason. I have spent lots of time organizing their room and play room. Everything. has. a. place! BUT, nothing seems to make it to it's place.

All that ranting to say, today they are cleaning. Cleaning out, cleaning off, cleaning out from under, JUST CLEANING.

So, I was in my bedroom and Ella came in with the broom and dustpan and said, "Mommy, I'm going to broom your room."

At least we can laugh!

Oh friend, I feel your pain. My darling Sophie thinks the world is her trash can. Her bedside table drawers, her closet, any available counter, table, piece of furniture...Get the picture. She is also missing a pair of Adidas flip flops that we have yet to find. The list could go on, but instead I think I'll laugh too.

Oh, would you send her our way to broom our room?!?
I love Ella's language skills. She always makes me laugh.
I also need to remind you that Erin has been w/o ballet shoes since the Nutcracker. Have I bought anymore? No, I'm too poor. Maybe next week.
hugs to you,
Terri

Oh, Tammy, that is too funny! Will you send her to my house to 'broom' my room when she gets a chance? I could always use a good 'brooming'. LOL!! We are having the same issues at our house. UGGGGGHHHHH!!!! So very frustrating!!
